RESPECTFUL HOMES

The home that doesn't fight
against the climate.

The use of structural timber, together with the reduction of labour-intensive construction processes on site, helps to lower environmental impact compared with traditional systems based on concrete or steel. This promotes a more efficient, sustainable and responsible way of building.”

SUSTAINABILITY IS NO LONGER AN OPTION, IT IS AN OBLIGATION

In 2026 the new CTE DB SA document on environmental health comes into force, which will be mandatory for all buildings from 2030. EBANIS homes are ahead of the future and already meet its requirements

Zero-emission building

Maximum efficiency requiring zero or minimal energy consumption and a neutral impact with zero on-site carbon emissions and minimal greenhouse gases.

Recircularity

Timber is 100% biodegradable and recyclable. At the end of its useful life, its elements are reused, recycled or composted, making a huge difference compared with concrete, which usually ends up as heavy rubble that is difficult to reuse.

Reduced embodied carbon

Unlike concrete or steel, certified timber is an infinite, renewable resource that acts as a natural CO2 sink, reducing the environmental footprint of construction by up to 75%. Industrialisation allows a much faster, more precise and dry on-site assembly. The result is a clean manufacturing process, with minimal waste and a notably safer working environment.

Renewable energy

Aerothermal energy is the clean energy that harnesses the latent heat present in the outdoor air, even in the depths of winter, and turns it into heating, cooling and hot water for the home. Combined with low-temperature systems, it drastically reduces the energy bill.

Health indicators

The healthiness of buildings depends directly on the use of natural materials. It is essential to rule out plastics, formaldehydes and endocrine disruptors. Guaranteeing the quality of the air and of the components is the only way to create truly healthy indoor spaces.

Anticipation

Now is the time to get ahead of the new regulations and stop building structures that will become obsolete. At EBANIS we are committed to timber and noble materials, proving that it is possible to build in a sustainable, efficient and healthy way for people and the environment.
